Gamston Church of England Primary School

Be the best you can be

Parents & Friends Association (PFA)

Welcome to the Parents and Friends Association for our wonderful school! With ever tighter budgets to manage, we support the Staff and Governing Body where we can to provide the best experience possible for our children in their formative years, and hopefully create very special and happy memories along the way.

If you would like to help us, in any capacity, your support is always greatly appreciated. Come along to a meeting, help sell cakes, trim the Christmas tree... Your time and effort will be greatly rewarded by seeing the smiles on the children's faces - incentive enough for anyone!

Ways that you can help us fundraise

There are lots of ways that you can help us with fundraising. As well as supporting events and activities such as our annual Strawberry Fayre and regular class bake sales, here are some other easy ways that you can help us:

  • Drop off your used inkjet printer cartridges in the recycling bin outside the office. We will send these off to The Recycling Factory and receive up to £3.50 for each cartridge successfully recycled.
  • Buy a Gamston School water bottle (£3.50) from the school office. All profits go to the PFA.
  • Donate your unwanted clothes, shoes and handbags for our termly Starlight Collection. The recycling company will pay our school for every kilo collected, and also make a donation to Starlight, a charity that supports seriously and terminally ill children.
  • Buy raffle tickets for our Christmas raffle to raise funds for our school and be in win the chance of winning some great prizes.
  • Get your child to do an amazing Christmas design, then you can purchase stationery featuring your child's design (greetings cards, postcards, gift wrap, gift labels) along with gifts (fridge magnets and key rings).
