Welcome to Gamston Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School's website. We are located in North Nottinghamshire and part of a family of ten primary schools that 'feed' into Tuxford School.

Gamston School, founded in 1856, moved from our original, Victorian building to a beautiful, modern building in September 2005. Here is a photograph of the new building.. The 'welcome stone' at the front of the school was designed by one of our ex-pupils, Holly Hamill. Her artwork is lovely and we were so pleased with Holly's motto: 'Gamston School, A Fun Place to Learn' because it sums up perfectly what the school is all about. In 2009 we held another competition - asking the children to design a logo for our new school sign. There were many super entries but in the end we chose Molly's 'touching hands' design with the motto: 'We're All Friends at Gamston School'.
